Software Uses, Requirement and Analysis Report of local bodies (Eastern Region)

With the arrival of ICT Volunteers at local bodies, our prior strategy was to understand the use of software or to internalize the use of software in daily work in the local bodies. A survey related to understand the need of the local bodies regarding software being used was vital.
The initial survey relating to the current trends of technology in "ICT Survey" conducted all over Nepal, was an eye opener towards the current status of technology in local bodies.
After 7 months of their stay in the local body, ICT Volunteers now have a clear picture and understanding of the technology that is required to boost the services of the local body.
The report intends to clarify the survey conducted internally in Eastern Region, where the ICT Volunteers were asked to state the current software used in the local body and to notify the software that are very vital in the lb, but are currently not available. The survey has been conducted in two sections, currently available and required in the lb, with the preferred type of software. This also inspects the data backup facility both in current and required software. The creation of report was also intended to improve creative side of the ICT Volunteers, where 4 ICT Volunteers from different lbs were asked to create the report based on the survey conducted.
